Pink is Pregnant! Glad I’m Not the Kid!

Pink and her husband Carey Hart are having a baaaaaaaaaaby!!! That is awesooooooome!!!! I’m soooooooo happy for them!!! But really, I’m just happy that I’m not going to be the child growing up with Pink as a mooooooom!!!

I like Pink – I do. I think she’s a really talented singer and she stays true to herself and she seems very honest and real. But uh……..that whole “I’m glad my dad put me through a wall”? No thanks. That’s kinda weird. I know she can be extreme and everything, and I’m sure her dad didn’t actually put her through a wall, but lordy lordy, I am a little concerned about her kid. She has already said that her doctors think it’s a girl, and she’s worried about that because she was so bad when she was young.

I guess she’s ready to bring the smack down on her little girl if she gets an attitude? That is cuh-razy. And does she not think if she has a boy that he could be bad? Only a girl would be bad? Guurl, trust—boys can be bad too. I know that your mom has put the bad juju on you by saying she hopes you have a girl that acts just like you did, but I’m pretty sure that the curse works on children of any gender.

It’s just – how whacky do you have to be to say in public, “I think parents need to beat the crap outta their kids”? Do you not think Social Services will now be watching every single move you make, and if you so much as hold that kid’s hand too hard, they won’t be there to snatch that kid away and haul your ass to jail? That just wasn’t smart thinking, Miss Alecia Moore. You are famous and so everything you say is examined under a NASA type microscope. Does NASA use microscopes? Or only telescopes? Both? Hm.

Whatever – the point here is that you can’t just go around saying in interviews that you think parents should beat the living daylights out of their kids without raising a few eyebrows. And I’m pretty sure you aren’t gonna be invited to many play dates with the other mommies, cuz they aren’t gonna want to watch while you smack your kid repeatedly. That’s just awkward for everyone.
