On juggling work with home life – “This is how I juggle being a mum with working in show business…When in doubt, I take baby with.”
Myleene didn’t even let giving birth get in the way of doing her job – “I went into labour with Ava live on The One Show wearing an Elvis cat suit…It didn’t fit Adrian Chiles, so I put it on/ Next thing I know, I’m in the hospital ready to give birth.”
On finding time to perform in Dubai – “My first thought was that I couldn’t leave Ava, and that I’d have to bring my team to help out…Next thing I know, they’ve sent me a private jet!..I was given the presidential suite, which had seven beds for my friends to sleep in…Extravagant isn’t really the word.”
Would being surrounded by a world of showbiz temptation let her children become spoilt? – “Maybe if we’re at Simon’s house…He spoils Ava and encourages naughty behaviour. But when we’re with Lauren [Laverne] and her sons, the kids would rather be splashing around in puddles than playing with expensive toys.”
And might there be wedding bells for her and fiancé Graham in 2011? – “I’m realistic when it comes to relationships and I’ve seen a lot of unhappy married couples stop trying just because they have that piece of paper…But Gray is the love of my life, and if I can find time this year then I’d say it’s possible.”
