Zoe Saldana Says She Is A ‘Proud Geek’
It seems that Zoe Saldana is proud to be a geek. Zoe, 31, told People magazine, “For me, it’s been like preaching to my choir, because I was considered what you would think of as a geek”.
She added, “I loved stories that helped me escape, and those happened to be the stories that fall into the category of geekiness. So, therefore, I am a proud geek!”
Saldana played Neytiri in ‘Avatar’, a princess of the Na’vi tribe central to the story, who is attracted to Jake because of his bravery. She would also appear in the upcoming 2010 crime thriller film ‘Takers’.
