Tiger Crashed After Being Clubbed By His Wife

Last night I asked if Tiger Woods’ car crash was “related to the recent reports of Tiger being caught cheating on his wife” and as the story develops it’s looking more likely that’s the reason behind the car smashing into a tree.

Reports suggest an argument took place and his facial injuries were caused by his wife prior to the accident in the family home.

Elin Nordegren allegedly confronted her husband about reports that he was seeing another woman, an argument ensued and, according to TMZ, she scratched his face.

At this point Woods beat a hasty retreat for his car with his wife in hot pursuit armed with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the SUV several times with the club, smashing the back window, cashing it to hit a fire hydrant then a tree.

Many media outlets are still reporting that the window was smashed by his wife in a bid to help him escape, it seems this simply isn’t true and that she swung the club as he drove off.

There’s also speculation about whether alcohol played a part in the accident as Tiger seemed out of it at the scene when police arrived.

Apparently Woods is taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which may explain why some officers may have thought he was drunk.

Or did his wife swing the club one last time when he got out of the car?
