Swayze: I’m Not Dead

Twitter followers were left devastated after reports of much loved actor Patrick Swayze’s death circled the popular social media site throughout the day on May 20th.  Reports were allegedly first broadcast on radio before ripping through Twitterverse like wildfire, making it the number one trending topic of the day.

Despite fans initial worries it soon became very clear that wires had been crossed somewhere, especially when the star released a recent family portrait to prove that he really IS still alive.

Swayze, 56 is bravely fighting an ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer that now sees him looking a far cry form his former self. Gaunt, painfully thin and yet still managing to crack a genuine looking smile for the camera he sits with his wife Lisa and their dogs.

As cancer victims, and families of those affected will know, the disease is no laughing matter and must be hitting Patrick harder than ever in what could potentially be his final few months to live. Constant rumours of his death can’t be helping matters and it is at times like this when you just wish people would give the poor guy a break and back off!
