Simon Cowell Talks Absolute Bollocks

As I’m sat working away I’ve got the X Factor results show on in the background and Simon Cowell has just had one of his meaningless rants that people are trying to derail the show, and with Wagner getting kicked out, things are back on track.

I can’t believe how much crap comes out of this guys mouth.

The X Factor hasn’t been nicknamed Fix Factor for nothing. The sooner Simon realises this years’ show has been a disaster the better. From the outset it has been dogged with dodgy decisions from his behind the scenes team of producers and execs, starting with the auto-tune fiasco. It has steadily got worse and isn’t getting any better.

Two weeks of bad headlines surrounding Wagner – who can only be described as ‘a novelty act’ – are not the work of mischievous showbiz editors. It smells more like the work of a well oiled PR machine holding guns to peoples heads to do what they want if the exclusives and headline stories are going to keep flowing on to their news desks.

People aren’t stupid and can see it for what it really is. Manipulated.

Most people I know who waste their Saturday and Sunday nights watching this scripted singing show only do so because there is nothing else to watch.

If the Beeb weren’t such a bunch of shitbags, and collaborators, they could knock Fix Factor off the top of the ratings. But unfortunately for TV Licence payers, the Beeb are no doubt in cahoots with their ITV counterparts to make sure their own primetime shows don’t get any serious competition.
