Rachelle Lefevre Opted To Skip ‘New Moon’ Premiere

Rachelle Lefevre did not attend Monday’s New Moon premiere in Los Angeles. Lefevre, 30, admitted to her fans that she was “too emotional” to appear at the star-studded event.

She tweeted, “2 fans at the premiere: w/ Honey in hospital & being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn’t manage it. So sorry”. Honey is the actress’ dog.

Rachelle, who portrays the character of vampire Victoria in the first and second installments of “The Twilight Saga” was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for ‘Eclipse’. Summit Entertainment attributed the change to scheduling conflicts; Barney’s Version and Eclipse both begin filming is August this year. Lefevre responded that she was “stunned” by the decision.
