Mischa Barton Sent To The Nut House

The former OC star Mischa Barton was sectioned after cops were called to her home on Wednesday according to US TV show Access Hollywood.

Barton was placed under “involuntary psychiatric hold” – a piece of US legislation that means she poses a danger to herself or others. The section stipulates that a person can be held against their will for up to 72 hours.

LAPD Officer April Harding told People magazine: “We assisted her with a medical issue and removed her from her home.”
