Mel Gibson Expresses Sympathy For Tiger Woods

Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson has expressed his sympathy for Tiger Woods. He even thinks that the golfer is being used as a ‘diversion’. In a recent interview with Britain’s Daily Mail he said, “I feel sorry for Tiger Woods.”

Gibson, 54, explained, ‘Why are we talking about this when we’re sending 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan? You’ve got this history-changing event going on and we’re talking about Tiger’s private life and golf injuries. He’s being used as a diversion and it just drives me crazy.”

Mel Gibson plays Thomas Craven, a homicide detective for the Boston Police Department, in the upcoming film, ‘Edge of Darkness’.
