Madonna Collapses During Performance
Pop icon Madonna collapsed during her performance in Saturday’s Sticky & Sweet show in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. The 51 year-old lost consciousness as she sang ‘Holiday’ and had to be held up by a dancer. She walked off the stage during Spanish Lesson and fell over.
A source revealed to The Sun that “She refused to end the show or take a break after the Holiday dizzy spell. It turns out she’s suffering from exhaustion. She is anaemic.” The source added that she was advised to postone her final two shows in Israel, but “logistics and stubborness stopped her. She’ll do them then take some rest.”
Madonna’s 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour became the highest grossing concert tour by a solo artist.
