Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail After Serving 13 Days

Lindsay Lohan has been released from jail after serving a 13-day stretch of a 90-day sentence.

The actress was released at 9.35am today (1.35am local time) from the county jail in Los Angeles.

An spokesman for the star told MailOnline her mother Dina and sister younger sister Ali are on their way to the Lynwood Regional Detention Facility to see Lindsay.

Her early release comes following good behaviour and because of overcrowding at the jail.

Lohan, who was jailed for violating probation on a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence, will now go to a substance abuse treatment centre, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed.

Spokesman Steve Whitmore, of the Sheriff’s Department, would not name the facility she was going to.

TMZ is reporting Lohan will now go to the UCLA Medical Centre for an intense specialised programme to deal with psychological as well as a addiction problems.
