Lily Allen Quits Social Networking Sites

Lily Allen has left Twitter and she’s also done with MySpace and email, Daily Mirror reports. The 24-year-old star has “given away her computer, Macbook and BlackBerry”. She only uses an old mobile or house phone to stay in touch with the outside world.

One of Lily’s friends revealed, “We thought she was joking, but it’s been a month since she last Twittered. Before then you could always get a response from her straight away. No matter what time of day or where she was, she’d be glued to her BlackBerry.”

Lily recently admitted that her boyfriend Sam Cooper “gets really angry” about her obsession with the social networking sites. Another friend said, “Sam was fed up. He told Lily: ‘It’s me or Twitter.’ And she chose him.”
