Cerys Matthews Welcomes Baby Boy Eight Weeks Early

Cerys Matthews has given birth to her second son eight weeks early. A message on Matthews’ official website reads: “How happy I am to let you know that our baby boy was born on Monday 23rd. 8 weeks earlier than expected.”

The 40-year-old singer-songwriter added, “We are doing very well and excited now to share this happy news with you. What an amazing surprise, just after presenting Children In Need on Friday! Love always, Cerys and Steve”.

This is the first child for Cerys with her partner Steve Abbott. She already has two children, a boy and a girl, with her ex-husband Seth Riddle.
