Video: Driver does world’s biggest loop-the-loop

loop the loop

Watch Steve Truglia attempting the world’s largest loop-the-loop – known to stuntmen as the ‘death loop’.

Steve needed the Toyota Aygo to enter the 40 foot high loop at exactly 37mph, immediately change out of gear and slow to 16mph as the vehicle swung round the top to complete the loop successfully.

He was helped by the fact that the front and back of the car had been carved off to stop it scraping the track and slowing down.

The stunt was filmed at a Suffolk airbase for Channel Five’s car show Fifth Gear and will air this Saturday (23rd May) at 11.30am.
