Old Bumper Cars Made Road Legal [Pics]

What do you do with old funfair Bumper Cars? Scrap them or make them street legal…
Yes, you read that right; these little puddle jumpers are street legal.
They run on either Kawasaki or Honda motorcycle engines with vintage bumper car bodies turning them into cool looking mini-cars.

There are seven of these little monsters floating around California, and they’re all the creation of one man, Tom Wright.
He lives on the outskirts of San Diego and figured the leftovers of the Long Beach Pike amusement park needed a more dignified end than the scrap heap. They were originally powered by Harley motors but they rattled like hell and Tom replaces them with Honda or Kawasaki 750′s.
Apparently a couple have been measured at hitting a whopping 160 MPH – a frightening thought.
