Constructing The Alpine Ski Champions Cup Slalom

The Russian Ski Association hosted an Alpine Ski competition on Saturday night in the city of Moscow.
Not only did they need to construct a replica Alpine ski slalom, organisers had to truck in hundreds of kilos of snow from Murmansk due to the Russian capital’s unusally warm weather.
The ramp was erected on a slope at Vorobyevy Hills. It had 20 gates and was 197 feet high, 118 feet wide and 689 feet long.
Here’s 20 pictures showing the construction of the ski slope in Moscow city centre.
