IKEA Take Over The Paris Metro (32 Pictures)

IKEA Takes Over Paris Subway

Swedish furniture giant IKEA have taken their bookcases to Bondi Beach in the past and now they have taken over four of the busiest subway stations on the Paris metro system replacing the regular seating with comfy sofa’s.

St Lazare, Champs Elysees Clemenceau, Concorde and Opera stations have all been kitted out with the ‘Ektorp’ and ‘Kalstad’ couches for commuters to try out as they wait on the train.

The walls behind them have also been covered with giant posters that showcase IKEA interiors.

Here’s a gallery of 32 pictures taken at the four stations as part of the 14 day gorilla marketing campaign.
