Huge Blaze Destroys Fire Service Training College

Burned-out and blackened, this is the scene of destruction left by a massive blaze – at Britain’s Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.
Dozens of firefighters were called in to tackle the inferno, but the flames caused an estimated £1.3million of damage to 11 fire engines.
Last night it was claimed the building wasn’t fitted with a sprinkler system.
No-one was in the building when the blaze broke out on Saturday morning.
The Fire Service College provides specialist courses for emergency workers from the UK and abroad. More than 7,000 firefighters pass through each year.
