The oldest Dominican Republic cigar maker is the Leon family, who have been making their Leon Jimenes and La Aurora cigars on the island since 1905.

As famous as the products are the island has many more small scale producers who make and sell at village level.

This gallery shows both sides of the Dominican Republic cigar industry, from large producers making thousands a day to small, one man makers.
