Pictured: Doctors Stitch Burnt Fingers Into Stomach To Prevent Amputation

The photo above shows a young factory workers’ burnt fingers stitched into her stomach to help the bone fat and tissue regrow.

A Dr. Yana from Russia used the unique method, known as the ‘tap method’, as he felt the 20 year old woman shouldn’t lose her fingers “with her whole life ahead of her”, or go through a 12 hour operation that didn’t guarantee success.

The finger will remain implanted in her stomach for one month allowing the circulation of blood from the stomach into the fingers together with ‘belly fat’.
