Air Guitar World Championships 2009 Gallery
21 wannabe rockers from 19 countires as far afield as Japan, Australia and New Zealand competed in the 2009 Air Guitar World Championships at the weekend in Oulu, northern Finland.
Frenchman Sylvain Quimene, who performs under the stage name of Gunther Love, was crowned the 2009 champ after wowing judges with his acrobatic dance routines and outrageous outfits – he was clad in a skin-tight golden leotard, that too seemed impressed judges.
