University of Florida student Andrew Meyer
During a 2007 conference with US Senator John Kerry, police arrested and tasered University of Florida student Andrew Meyer. The whole incident was caught on camera and later posted to YouTube, sparking complaints of police brutality. Charges of inciting a riot and disturbing the peace that were brought against Meyer were eventually dropped.
Dallas police officer shocks himself

Kathryn Winkfein got more than just a speeding ticket when she was stopped by a Texas deputy for driving at 60mph in a 45mph zone.
After refusing to sign the speeding ticket and using a ‘number of profanities’, the officer resorted to his taser to subdue Winkfein.

UCLA Student Tasered by Police in Library
In 2006, Mostafa Tabatabainejad, a fourth-year UCLA student, was stunned multiple times with a taser by campus police, for allegedly refusing to be escorted out of the College Library Instructional Computing Commons lab at Powell Library.
The police had been called after Tabatabainejad had refused to provide his student ID to a UCLA Community Service Officer during a routine check.
