Cop Cars: Wrecks To Race Cars (36 photos)
In some countries cops are driving supercars whilst in others it’s Smart Cars. From wrecks to roadsters and everything imaginable that falls in between you can bet a police force somewhere round the world is using it to chase baddies.
The 192mph Lamborghini Gallardo is currently used by an Italian police patrol on the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway.
In Germany an order has been placed for a Brabus CLS V12 S Rocket which has a top speed of 225mph.
In San Diego officers are using a custom made police car with integrated shotgun mounts and a top speed of 155mph
UK police officers have driven a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, but purely to promote road safety, whilst they do use four electric Smart Cars in and around London.
