X Factor Finalists Sing Rage Against The Machine

Rage Against The Machine X factor

Right now in the UK there’s a big publicity drive going on to stop the X Factor winner Joe McElderry hitting the Christmas number 1 with his dreadful cover of the Miley Cyrus hit Climb.

The general feeling is that Simon Cowell has hijacked the Christmas number 1. Since 2005, the winner of his talent competition The X Factor, has taken the number one spot – beginning with Shayne Ward in 2005, followed by Leona Lewis, Leon Jackson and Alexandra Burke.

Supported by a Facebook group of nearly 800,000 members as of Wednesday morning, Rage Against The Machine’s early 90s hit ‘Killing In The Name’ is leading the way in the race to be number one this Sunday.

As part of the campaign they have produced this brilliant spoof video of the X Factor finalists, Susan Boyle and Cowell himself singing ‘Killing In The Name’.

Oh yeah – for anyone who hasn’t heard the track before, it contains NSFW language and lyrics.
