New Michael Jackson Single Out October 12

October is set to be Michael Jackson’s most profitable month for years after details of a new single and album were announced to coincide with his ‘This Is It’ rehearsal footage movie.

The single, also titled ‘This Is It’, will be released on October 12 and includes vocals from Jackson’s brothers. A two-disc album of the same name is due out on October 28.

Disc one will include original versions of Jackson’s biggest hits, as well as two different versions of the new single.

Disc two, meanwhile, features previously unreleased versions of the singer’s songs and an unheard spoken word poem entitled Planet Earth.

This Is It – The Movie will premiere simultaneously in 15 cities across the globe on October 27 and 28.

The movie has a limited two week cinema release with tickets going on sale on September 27. The DVD will be in shops in time for Christmas sales.

A new 45 second clip shows Jacko running through the blocking for the song ‘Human Nature’ from his hit album ‘Thriller’.
