Madness To Headline Edinburgh Hogmanay Show

It’s just been announced that Madness are to headline this year’s Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh.

The band, who had hits including House of Fun and Baggy Trousers in the 1980s, will bring in the new year at the Concert in the Gardens.

Pete Irvine, creative director of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, described the band as being “the perfect party band”.

He said: “We’re delighted that they’ve agreed to headline Edinburgh’s Hogmanay music and firework spectacular. We’re looking forward to a Mad Hogmanay.”
