Lars Ulrich Nets $13m For ‘Artwork’

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has just sold a painting of a boxer (above) by Jean-Michel Basquiat at auction in New York for $13.5m.

I’d love to know how something that looks as if it’s been painted by a five year old in the dark can be worth so much money.
