Kylie Paid £1.5m For 40 Minute Set

Sexy songbird Kylie Minogue was paid £1.5million for a 40-minute set at the launch of the £1.5billion Hotel Atlantis, on the man-made Palm Jumeirah Island resort in Dubai.

The guest list included such big names like Charlize Theron, Michael Jordan, Lindsay Lohan, Wesley Snipes, Mary-Kate Olsen, Janet Jackson, Natalie Imbruglia, supermodel Petra Nemcova, and many others.

Apparently the fireworks display was seven times as big as the display that launched the Beijing Olympics – the credit crunch hasn’t hit the oil rich Gulf yet.
