Caught Live: Katy Perry The Forum Melbourne

Katy Perry arrived on stage at The Forum in Melbourne last night (Friday 14) dressed as a 1930s bombshell.
The stage was designed to resemble the cover for her debut album One of the Boys, complete with pink flamingos, a white picket fence and a pulsing heart as a backdrop.
She opened the set with Fingerprints and immediately had the audience rocking. Three songs in, and Perry had dragged one lucky audience member on stage to join her for Hot N Cold.
After Mannequin, Thinking of You was performed on acoustic guitar. Waking Up in Vegas and Ur So Gay provided sing-a-long opportunities.
Katy threw in surprise covers of 1960s pop classics Please Mr Postman and Build Me Up Buttercup.
Returning for an encore launching into Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now before closing the show with the anthemic I Kissed a Girl.
All in all, the Aussies loved every minute of the Katy Perry roadshow.
