Guns N’ Roses Bottled Off Stage In Dublin

You’d think Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses would have learned something from showing up over an hour late on stage for their headline slots at the Reading And Leeds Festival at the weekend but apparently not.
Last night the band kept a Dublin crowd at the O2 waiting for over an hour and when they did finally start the show they were booed and bottled before Rose had the chance to sing the first line of their opener Welcome To The Jungle.
In video footage below he can be heard telling the crowd: “Alright, here’s the deal: one more bottle, we go home. It’s up to you.
“We would like to stay. Do you want us to stay? We want to say, we want to have some fun. If you don’t want to have fun all you’ve got to do is let us know – we’ve got no problem – and we’ll go on our way.”
Guns N’ Roses then played three more songs before walking off stage and left it to arena staff to apologise.
The house lights eventually came up and half the audience left but band eventually returned to play a brief set around 11:30pm for those who remained.
