Cheryl Cole’s debut solo single ‘Fight For This Love‘ is set to become one of the year’s biggest selling singles.

The rush of sales follows on from her performance on this weekends X Factor results show that commanded an audience of around 14m.

The very show that will produce the song that pushes ‘Fight For This Love’ into second spot on the years biggest selling singles list.

I actually find the whole scenario quite funny.

There’s Cheryl selling a truckload of singles after being forced to mime half a song through public pressure and criticism. Yet her act she is supposed to be mentoring, Ricky, gets booted from the show saying Cheryl was more worried about her own performance let alone his.

Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot says: “This will be second successive week of massive single sales – led by Cheryl. Her first days sales are just amazing and put her in pole position to top the Official Singles Chart on Sunday.”
