Caught Live: Tina Turner O2 Arena London
On Wednesday night the O2 Arena was sold out and by 8 o’clock the crowd were ready to party to the sound of Tina Turner.
Steamy Windows blasted off lion-maned Tina’s first UK show in a decade, with explosive versions of River Deep Mountain High, What’s Love Got To Do With It following in quick succession.
Her voice is incredible and she can still out-strut her stuff with those famous pins.
Later TT toasted her love of Brit music with a cool medley of Beatles and Stones covers before straddling a giant claw and shaking her legendary barnet over her adoring fans to chants of Nutbush City Limits.
She really is simply the best, still.
