Black Eyed Peas Joining The ‘Mile High Club’

This Friday on a flight from Melbourne to Perth, the Black Eyed Peas will join the ‘Mile High Club’ and around 140 people will watch the whole performance at 40,000 feet.
For those of you with a dirty mind I’m sorry to tell you that Fergie won’t being heading for the toilet to service the pilot, passengers or her bandmates because they are not joining that ‘Mile High Club’.
The only ‘Mile High Club’ Fergie, Will.i.am and company will be joining is the ‘Mile High Karaoke Club’.
Nearly 140 guests, including 30 winners of a competition, will join the band onboard a Virgin Blue plane and be given the chance to join the band for a sing-a-long as part of a publicity drive and charity fundraiser.
The plane has been transformed to mark the occasion, with a team of more than 50 people including engineers, technicians and staging professionals working for over three months to create a unique venue.
Ten tickets have also been snapped up by US fans via an Ebay charity auction, and the winning bidders will now fly to Australia to join the karaoke flight from Melbourne.
Funds raised from the auction will go to the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research.
Hopefully by Friday evening I should have some photos and video from the flying karaoke bar.
