Texas Guitarist Suffers Brain Haemorrhage

Ally McErlaine, the guitarist from the Scottish rock band Texas, is critically ill after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
Band members Sharleen Spiteri and Eddie Campbell have visited the 40-year-old in hospital over the weekend.
McErlaine, one of the founding musicians of the group 21 years ago, collapsed in London on Thursday when the aneurysm struck.
Sharleen Spiteri, the lead singer of Texas, said: ‘Like everyone else I am desperately hoping Ally will get well and pull through.
‘It is a shock and he is a personal friend. All of us are wishing him well with all our hearts.’
