10 Most Played Songs In The UK For 2009


PRS for Music have released a list of the most played songs in the UK for 2009 based on the number of times a songs was used on radio, TV, online or in concert.

Eight of the top 10 were released in 2008 with the oldest making the top ten being Moloko’s 2000 hit “The Time Is Now” which is played frequently on Sky Sports trailers.

Surprisingly no place for Michael Jackson despite a surge in the popularity of his hits after his death in June.
