Woman Told She’s Pregnant Has Twins 13 Days Later
Feeling rundown and tired, Sally Giles assumed she had been overdoing it. She went to the doctor, who warned that she might have an under-active thyroid and agreed to do some tests.
But when the results came back, they could hardly have been more surprising. For Mrs Giles was six months pregnant – with twins.
Thirteen days later, the 34-year-old gave birth to baby girls – weighing two pounds each – by emergency caesarean.
As a mother of twins, these stories just beg the question “How could she not have known?”
All I can say is what a pregnancy, but what about the shock and then the aftermath, that’s where it all begins!!
