Photo Special: The US Hospital Ship Comfort In Haiti

The USNS Comfort hospital ship received its first Haitian patients as it streamed toward Haiti. A 6-year-old boy and 20-year-old man, both severely injured, were flown by Navy helicopter from the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson.
The U.S. Navy’s floating hospital arrived near Port-au-Prince yesterday with 900 medical staff and 12 operating rooms to provide much needed support to the medical teams on the ground.
