Chemical castration sounds very unpleasant. A country introducing it as a law sounds frightening.

The truth is it’s anything but unpleasant or frightening when you realise the type of people they have in mind for such treatment.

I take my hat off to the Polish government for introducing mandatory castration for those convicted of raping children under the age of 15 years.

Places like the UK are soft on crime, whether it be violent or sexual.

I read a story yesterday where a father and son were sentenced to less than 20 years between them for killing a man in cold blood. They will both be back on the streets enjoying a beer together in less than seven years. Shocking.

The new Polish law has sparked criticism from human rights groups, the do-gooders always have something to say no matter how hideous the crime. They always come up with some bullshit to justify the bad apples amongst us.

I wonder would they feel this way if their son or daughter unfortunately became a victim of those the Polish government are targeting?
