Christmas Comes Early To The Streets Of Sydney
The kids of Sydney must have thought Christmas had come early as more than 1,800 people dressed up as Santa Claus raced through the city streets yesterday.
The youngsters were in for some disappointment because the runners in red were doing a fun run, not early deliveries.
The Santas got into the Christmas spirit by belting out “Ho-ho-ho!” and “Merry Christmas” throughout the run.
The event raised close to $100,000 Australian dollars (£55,000) for disadvantaged children.
