New Footage Of G20 Victim Ian Tomlinson

A new video has emerged which shows the startling force with which Ian Tomlinson’s head hit the pavement after he was pushed by a police officer during the G20 protests.

It also seems to show the 47-year-old newspaper vendor put up no resistance to the approaching police officers in the moments before he was hit and shoved to the ground.

Ian had been attempting to get home when he became caught up in the G20 protests and died a short time after this incident.

The film-maker has asked to remain anonymous but passed the footage to the IPCC, which is conducting a criminal inquiry into Tomlinson’s death, and the Guardian newspaper.
