Appearing to chants of ‘Mid-gets! Mid-gets!’ from the expectant crowd, little people of all ages act out the classic American Rodeo, just on a smaller scale.

The touring troupe even simulate a full blown bull fight, but with bull fighting being illegal in America the vertically challenged performers use plastic swords and hammers to get under the bulls skin.

Playing to packed houses at LA’s Pico Rivera Sports Arena, the Mexican Midget Rodeo has anything but a small following.

Pressure groups such as the Little People of America actively press for a ban on any midget rodeos which are already illegal in states such as Florida and New York.

Opponents of the midget rodeo feel that it demeans the dwarf’s who take part – surprise, surprise. My guess is they are glad of the payday.
