In Pictures: Landslides In China

The evening news is still dominated by the deaths and devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan and the mudslides in China.

For this set of pictures we return to the northwestern province of Gansu in China where search parties still search in the hope of finding survivors in the wake of the landslides in Zhouqu county.

The country has held a day of mourning for those killed in recent floods and mudslides, as the death toll rose to 1,239.
