President Obama went on a three-day tour of the South east Asia this week, taking in Thailand, Burma and Cambodia.

His first port of call on Sunday was a meeting with the worlds richest and longest serving monarch King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand swiftly followed by dinner at Government House with the Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

On Monday he became the first serving US president to visit Burma, where he met the opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, and President Thein Sein.

The tour ended with a day in Cambodia and the pictures here are a snapshot of this whistle stop tour.
