Drunk Yob Who Punched And Scarred Female Cop Walks Free

It’s no wonder Britain is facing a growing problem with violence when this is how the justice system deals with the guilty.
I’d like you to leave a comment below telling me what punishment you feel would be appropriate in the following case.
A 30 year old guy gets drunk, starts a fight with his wife in the street, punches a male cop who intervenes and then assaults his female colleague leaving her with a permanent scar on her face.
The whole incident was captured on CCTV and shown to the court.
The 30 year old man pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm and assault.
So if you were the judge what punishment would you feel was appropriate?
The Bristol court gave him an 18-week jail term suspended for a year, 80 hours of unpaid work, and ordered him to pay £500 compensation.
Yes, you did read that correctly, he walked free with a suspended sentence and community service.
On the same day, a local graffiti artist was also on trial at the very same court. His punishment was 80 hours of unpaid work, but told to pay £1,400 in fines and costs.
Give me the gown and hammer and here’s how both would be sentenced in my court.
The drunk yob would get four years in jail, and four years means he’d serve 48 months and not a minute less. And there’d be no TV’s and PlayStations in my prisons.
The graffiti vandal would be given 2 years voluntary work that would keep him so busy he’d have no time to be spraying walls. Failure to fulfil his punishment would result in a year long stint behind bars.
Court dismissed.
