Cobra Gold: The Largest Multinational Military Exercise In The World

Thousands of servicemen from four U.S. military branches joined Thai, Singaporean, Indonesian and South Korean troops in field and command post exercises this week.
The 29th annual installment of Cobra Gold is billed as the largest multinational military exercise in the world.
As part of the training Thai military personnel teach U.S. Marines how to catch a cobra with their bare hands during a jungle survival exercise in Chon Buri Province.
About 14,000 military personnel will take part in the three-week exercise that will include medical and engineering projects aimed at improving the Pacific Command’s rapid deployment of a joint task force.
