Air France Flight 447 – Are The Authorities Covering Up Terrorism?

It’s been six days since Air France flight 447 fell from the sky over the Atlantic, killing all 228 passengers and crew, on it’s journey from Rio to Paris.

Since the news broke on Monday there have been several suggestions as to what happened to the aircraft.

Electrical malfunctions due to a severe storm and a lighting strike are two that were voiced almost immediately.

Since then there has been more speculation but the one I notice they are so keen to dismiss is terrorism. Why are the authorities in France, Brazil and the USA so sure it wasn’t a bomb?

Only four days before Air France had received a bomb threat from an anonymous caller about a plane heading from South America to Paris – just like flight 447.

Following the threat, Flight 415 was grounded in Buenos Aires as sniffer dogs made a full search – but no explosives were found and the Boeing 777 was allowed to leave the Argentine capital.

The truth is they have no idea what happened to flight 447 as the story emerged yesterday that the wreckage they thought was from the A330 turns out to be floating ‘trash’ most likely dumped by a ship.

It’s also been confirmed the oil slick they claimed could have been from the jet was most likely left by a passing vessel. How they thought this was possible to begin with is beyond me. The plane was cruising at an altitude of 35,000 feet so the chances of it leaving any type of oil slick are near impossible.

One Air France pilot said he believed the Airbus 330 was blown up by terrorists after leaving Brazilian capital Rio de Janeiro. The long-haul captain, who did not want to be named, said: “It is highly likely a bomb went off. I’ve flown these jets 10 years. The chances of it being an electrical fault are unfeasible.

“There are five electricity supplies on board and they would all have to fail.”

The pilot added the chances of it crashing after being struck by lightning were “extremely rare in modern planes”.

He also dismissed the idea the pilot could have tried to land on the sea.

Again I ask, why is terrorism being dismissed so firmly? I personally think Governments are afraid of the consequences if it were to emerge that Air France Flight 447 was blown out of the sky.
