Ruins Of Detroit (12 Photos)

Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has unveiled an ambitious plan to demolish thousands of dangerous abandoned houses across the city to reflect its loss of population.
The plan is to tear down empty, abandoned and dangerous homes in neighborhoods across the city that have become nothing short of abandoned ghost towns.
The mayor envisions clearing out large swaths of the city that could be turned back into fields or farmlands. The smaller residential areas will allow essential services like police and fire to respond more quickly.

So essentially, the mayor wants to give the whole city back to nature. After removing all the abandoned buildings there will be nothing left standing. Make a national park out of it.
