Photo Special: Russia Train Bombing

Russia’s prosecutor general office has opened a criminal case on terrorism charges after the express train, carrying 661 passengers from Moscow to St Petersburg, derailed near the village of Uglovka, 250 miles north-east of Moscow.
Authorities say Friday’s derailment was caused by a bomb planted on the track and several Russian news agencies are quoting the country’s health minister as saying the death toll has reached 26, while dozens remain hospitalized.
Here’s 36 pictures that capture the scene from the train crash, the wreckage and the bomb blast victims.
