25 Year Old Spanish Woman Scoops £110m Euro Lottery

A Spanish woman scooped the world’s biggest lottery win in last week’s £110 million EuroMillions draw.

The 25-year-old winner was unaware of her incredible luck for several days because she was in bed with flu, Spanish newspaper El Pais said.

She only discovered her massive win on Monday afternoon when she returned to work.

The woman, from Majorca, was still ill but went back to her job fearing she could be sacked because of the economic crisis gripping Spain.

The winner, who is unmarried but has a boyfriend, has used the website regularly since 2006.

The winner picked all seven numbers – 4, 23, 24, 29, 31 and Lucky Stars 9 and 8 – for last Friday night’s draw.
