This ad is copied from Craigslist Vancouver housing for rent section – the first part of the ad is dull so just move down to the second section that starts ‘One other thing’.
I’m going to be leaving my apartment come spring and I’d like to find the tenants so I don’t have to paint it white. I spent thousands getting it professionally painted, so it’s going to appeal to someone who likes non-white walls. It’s a one-bedroom, older walk-up, west end, and I expect they’ll charge around $ 950 for it. Laundry in the building. Radiator-heated. Hydro not included. No dogs. Close to the beach, ferry. Your main windows face south (alley facing – though you do see a smidge of seawall//ocean), & side windows face next building which is close.
One other thing.
The neighbours in the next building are well, either exhibitionists or just very comfortable with nudity and sexuality. They’re a young f/m couple, good bodies, so you either are ok with having your side window (kitchen/dining room) blinds closed OR you’re very pleased with the idea and will leave your blinds open because their blinds are never closed, so 25 feet away they’re changing, having sex, him going down on her, etc., and you think this is a terrific deal to get a one bedroom apartment, a great location, and a free porn opportunity. Sell tickets to your friends. Cover your rent.
